Creamy chicken paprikash is a traditional Hungarian dish made with chicken thighs or breasts that are cooked in a creamy, paprika-spiced sauce. The dish is typically made with onions, garlic, and bell peppers, which are sautéed until tender before the chicken is added to the pan.

After the chicken is browned on both sides, it is simmered in a mixture of chicken broth, heavy cream, and sour cream, along with a generous amount of sweet Hungarian paprika. The result is a rich and flavorful sauce that is infused with the warm, smoky flavor of the paprika.

Creamy chicken paprikash is often served over egg noodles or dumplings, and it pairs well with a variety of side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread. It is a comforting and satisfying meal that is perfect for chilly evenings or any time you're in the mood for a hearty, flavorful dish.
